Wiccan Haus (Book #11) Book Blitz - A Bride Worth Fighting For by Sara Daniel

A Bride Worth Fighting For
by Sara Daniel

If she remembers the past, they won’t have a future.

Gwen Fairfax awakens in a hospital, deluged by stabbing head pain and unable to remember anything about her past, especially the man who claims to be her fiancé. A trip to the Wiccan Haus is her only hope to discover the woman she used to be, understand her mysterious dreams about a resort, and fall in love with the man she’s supposed to marry.

To stop his stepmother’s land development schemes from ruining the natural habitat he’s dedicated his life to preserving, Tucker Wilde is willing to do anything, even pretend to be engaged to the woman his brother left at the altar. But he isn’t prepared for the sweet, vulnerable woman to tempt him at every turn until he longs to give in to the temptation.

The more Gwen gets to know Tucker, the more she’s certain he’s a man worth remembering. But if the Wiccan Haus heals her memory, he’ll have to fight to keep his bride.

Character Interview with Gwen Fairfax from A Bride Worth Fighting For
By Sara Daniel

Interview conducted by Cemil Rowan, co-owner and empath of the Wiccan Haus

Cemil:  Thank you for coming to chat with us today. Why do you think Sara Daniel choose you to represent her/him?

Gwen:  *laughs* I have no idea. Maybe she had amnesia about my amnesia and forgot that I can’t remember anything!

Cemil:  Tell us a little about yourself?

Gwen:  Well, I woke up in the hospital a few days ago and couldn’t remember a thing about the past ten months. Apparently, I’m engaged to this total hunk who happens to be the most perfect, sensitive, patient fiancé ever.

Cemil:  Which of the Rowans do you most connect with and why?

Gwen:  I feel like you get me, Cemil, so I hope you won’t be offended when I say I adore how Sage is always there for me. She’s like a best friend and a mother rolled into one, and she is always making me these weird colored shakes that somehow make me feel better.

Cemil:  What is your birth date?

Gwen:  Um, well, I don’t recall the exact date. Pull my driver’s license out of my purse. That should give you all my stats.

Cemil:  Why did you come to the Wiccan Haus?

Gwen:  That’s pretty obvious, even for the girl who can’t remember anything. I came to get my memory back and to fall in love with my fiancé again.

Cemil:  What do you do to relax?

Gwen:  As far as I know—sleep, sleep, and more sleep. Hopefully, I’ll discover something more exciting while I’m at the Wiccan Haus this week.

Cemil:  Tell us about Tucker. What drew you to him?

Gwen:  Of course, I don’t remember what initially drew me to him, but I can guess. He’s gorgeous in that rugged “I forgot to shave again” kind of way. He’s always solicitous and thoughtful, putting my needs before his own. He has a huge passion for the environment. When he starts talking about plant life, his eyes just light up. Between you and me, I wish he’d look at me that way some time. Oh man, I shouldn’t have said that. Please, don’t put that in the interview. I just wish I knew what he saw in me that brought us together.

Cemil:  What’s your biggest turn on? Turn off?

Gwen:  How pathetic is this? I could tell you those things about Tucker, but I don’t know them about myself yet.

Cemil:  What your favorite ice cream flavor, chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry?

Gwen:  Not sure, but strawberry sounds yummy. Honestly, though, if I had my choice, I’d skip the ice cream and make a bowl of cinnamon applesauce instead.

Cemil:  Why should the readers be interested in your story?

Gwen:  If you’ve ever wished for a clean slate and to start your life over with no memory of the past, give this story a try and see how it’s working out of me. Or if you’ve ever wanted to wake up and have this most gorgeous, amazing guy engaged to you, this is the book for you!

Wiccan Haus (Book #8) Book Blitz - Guarding His Heart - by Carolyn Spear!

Guarding His Heart (Wiccan Haus novella)
by Carolyn Spear

School teacher Cassidy Sinclair’s sanity is questioned after claiming to see her hero appear out of thin air. Her savior dies in her arms after intercepting a gunshot meant for her and her student, Allan Branson. The only person who believes her account is the boy’s father who arranges her one-week stay at an exclusive holistic healing spa called the Wiccan Haus off the coast of Maine.

Trevor Green, a paranormal, is recovering—again—from gunshot wounds at Wiccan Haus. His body battered and his confidence broken, he is tasked to protect the woman he almost got killed. The one he’s fantasized about for months and who thinks he’s dead.

Excerpt:

“What happened?”

What happened? He inhaled a calming breath and counted to ten, aware that Cemil and Cyrus had joined Sage and were awaiting his answer. Well, not Cemil. He was just being polite. As a telepath, he’d already read Trevor’s thoughts.

“She was determined to come back here and I had to stop her.”

Cemil grinned. “The best you could come up with was decloaking her dead savior right in front of her?”

“Yeah,” he snarled, “it was.” Cassidy stirred in his arms and he tightened his hold keeping her close. He savored the innocent intimacy and hated himself for enjoying it.

Dana stood between the two elevators. “Your room or hers?”

“Hers.”

He nodded toward Sage as he waited for the third elevator, the one reserved for the humans. Somehow, these siblings had charmed the elevators so that only humans could use the one designated to go to the third floor and only Paranormals could use the second floor elevator. The first elevator was reserved for the siblings alone. No one knew where that one went.

“I could use a key to her room.”

“How will you get there?” Sage asked, though he was sure she knew the answer. As always, he would wait patiently, cloaked, for his opportunity.

“Don’t worry about me. Just get me the key. She’s not going to be an easy one to keep an eye on.” The elevator pinged and Dana escorted him to the third floor.

In the privacy of the elevator, he pressed his lips to her hair. She wouldn’t know, but he would remember the silky strands caressing his cheek during the long lonely nights.

He needed to concoct a believable explanation for materializing out of thin air without threatening her sanity. Or his secret.

Wiccan Haus (Book #5) Book Blitz - Psychic Lies by: Sara Daniel

Psychic Lies
By Sara Daniel

What if you could read minds during sex? What if the government wanted to exploit you for your ability?

Fiona Vetter has spent her life hiding her sexual mind-reading power, pretending to have normal, safe powers like the rest of her family. When her charade results in the death of an innocent woman, her life of lies unravels. With nowhere else to turn, she retreats to the Wiccan Haus.

To expose her as an enemy of his government, Armando Verdad follows Fiona to the Wiccan Haus. Her beauty dazzles him, her personality seduces him, and her web of lies intrigues him. But with his career and the safety of his countrymen on the line, only the truth matters.

The harder Fiona tries to keep Armando away, the more she falls for him. When enemies come searching for her, she is forced to trust him to protect her life and her psychic lies, but nothing can protect her heart.

Excerpt:

Fiona dropped her fork. How could her soul have picked him for her mate? The Fates played cruel jokes, and, once again, they did so at her expense. “The vetter was trying her best.”

“Her best to do what?” He gripped her arm a bit tighter.

“To be a vetter.” By the Goddess, she’d tried so hard. Her failure had cost an innocent woman her life.

He rubbed his hand along her arm, his face breaking into a smile again. “You know, I believe you’re right.”

A fat lot of good that did for Lizbet. She dropped her gaze to his hand. “Why are you always touching me?” She didn’t know him well enough to warrant the constant contact, but pleasure sizzled under her skin at his touch. She didn’t deserve to enjoy anything.

He smiled wider. “I can’t stop myself. You feel the connection, don’t you?”

She couldn’t have a connection to a man who scorned people who didn’t use their powers for the greater good, not when she’d built the foundation of her life on denying her true powers. “I’m actually not a tactile person.”

After speaking such a big lie, she couldn’t continue to look him in the eye, not with all her powers concentrated in the most intimate tactile experience possible.

His grin split wider. “I’d love the chance to prove you wrong.”

And when he did, she’d know his thoughts. She’d know how much he despised the woman who claimed to be a vetter and allowed the commander’s beloved daughter to lifebond with a man who would murder her. Fiona had come to the Wiccan Haus to get away from the public’s hatred and scorn, not see it behind Armando’s beautiful smile and feel it no matter how warm and gentle his hands.
She shoved away from the table and ran for the exit.

“I didn’t mean to offend you. I meant it as a compliment,” he called after her.

The dining room quieted around her. Everyone stared. Once again, she drew the bad kind of attention. But she couldn’t stop.

Despite her desire to be a simple vetter, without real vetting powers that life could only be a lie. The truth, however, was far worse than a life of lies.

Character Interview with Armando Verdad of Psychic Lies

Today, I would like to welcome Armando Verdad, hero of Psychic Lies. Thank you for coming to chat with us today, Armando. Why do you think Sara Daniel choose you to represent her?
As the head of the Department of Truth-Finding for Syndicate (which is the government of the paranormal world for you humans out there), I am well-qualified to articulate myself. And honestly, I can’t afford to pass up any positive coverage to boost my department’s image right now.

Tell us a little about yourself?
As you might have figured out, I have the truth-finding power. This means when I touch a person who is speaking, their words mentally play back in my head followed by the word “truth” or “lie.” If the person speaks a sentence that is half truth and half lie, my power will break it into parts so I know exactly what part is truth and which is a lie. This makes me a very useful investigator for the government in solving crimes and ferreting out those who aim to deceive our honest citizens.

What do you wish people would know about you?
I wish people understood how much I want to use my power for the greater good of keeping the Syndicate safe. It’s true that I don’t have Cyrus’s amazing retro-cog power, but I can still make a difference, and I intend to prove it by cracking this high-profile murder case before the police do. I’m following the victim’s lifebond vetter to the Wiccan Haus. She’s definitely hiding something, and I’m going to figure out exactly what and bring her to justice.

I get the feeling you don’t believe you’re portrayed fairly in the media?
I have a problem with everyone believing the Department of Truth-Finding is not capable of solving crimes and protecting the Syndicate. Everyone constantly wants to compare me to Cyrus. It’s very frustrating to continually come up short.

What really pushes your buttons?
People not telling the truth, obviously. But aside from the big lies to cover up evil intentions, I don’t understand why people lie about insignificant things that don’t matter either way. How do I know which lies are worth digging into when everything that comes out of a person’s mouth is a lie?

Sounds like you need to relax a bit. Any ideas on how to go about that?
Well, if I’m lucky enough to have a woman to relax with, I enjoy a picnic with some exotic fruit, a variety of cheeses and a fine white wine. I’m not opposed to finishing the meal off with a nice massage or a swim in the lake (clothing *ah-hem* optional), but ultimately it’s whatever the lady wants. If she’s happy, then I’m relaxed.

What is your biggest fear?
My biggest fear is the Syndicate dissolving the Department of Truth Finding, so I’ll be forced to use my power to investigate cheating spouses and petty concerns. How does that serve the greater good?

Thank you, Armando, for dropping by to talk with us today. I hope your trip to the Wiccan Haus gives you the answers you’re looking for.

WICCAN HAUS (Book #2) BOOK BLITZ - A Man Worth Fighting For, By Sara Daniel

 A Man Worth Fighting For
By Sara Daniel

He has nothing left to offer. She's determined to show him how much he's worth.

Shot by a member of his elite military team, Justin Lawson goes into hiding, cutting all ties with his girlfriend to keep her safe from the traitor who’s hunting him down. With his body shattered, he no longer has anything to offer her anyway.

Holly Walters refuses to accept her boyfriend’s out-of-the-blue rejection without an explanation. Intent on seeking closure, she tracks him to the Wiccan Haus. Once there, she is drawn to help him heal his broken body and spirit, even though she knows she has to let him go.

The rogue assassin catches up to them, but this time Holly is in his crosshairs. Before Justin can make her believe he’s a man worth fighting for, they’ll have to fight for both their lives.

Excerpt:

“How did you hurt your knee?”

“Occupational hazard.”

She shuddered to think of the hazards involved in his classified military missions. “Did you fall and break it?”

“Bullet shattered it.”

She flinched, wanting to reach for him, hating he’d been in pain, hating even more that he’d shut her out.

“How long before or after this happened did you send me an eight word breakup text?”

“About seventy-two hours after.”

She’d been right not to take his text at face value, to demand an explanation even at the expense of a high-profile client and a week of lost work. Hope pulsed through her veins. “So you could have been texting while under the effects of anesthesia.”

“I wasn’t.”

“But you were on pain medication, and if you weren’t, the pain interfered with your ability to make sound decisions.”

“Don’t make excuses for me. I was an ass. I’m still an ass. I broke up with you, and you deserve better.”

Character Interview with Holly Walters of A Man Worth Fighting For

Today we welcome Holly Walters of A Man Worth Fighting For. Thank you for coming to chat with us today, Holly. Why do you think Sara Daniel chose you to represent her?
Well, that’s easy. She tried to get Justin to come here, and he refused. Since running a PR company is my job, I understand the value of reaching out to people and building a solid network. Honestly, I’ll be able to tell you more about Justin than he’d ever admit to himself.

Tell us a little about yourself.
Justin, who I’d been dating for a year, sent me an eight-word text to end our relationship. “I don’t want to see you anymore. Sorry.” Really? That’s all I get after a year together? I don’t think so. Sometimes a girl has to stick up for herself and demand better, so that’s exactly what I did. I tracked Justin all the way to the Wiccan Haus.

Do you feel you were portrayed fairly?
I wasn’t very happy that calling all of Justin’s colleagues and taking a week off work to find him made me look like a stalker ex-girlfriend. Then Sara made me look like I was going crazy because of all the weird—some people would say magical—things happening on the island. My clients depend on my upstanding, sane reputation. But you know what? I forgive Sara because she brought me to Justin and gave us a second chance to work out our issues.

Speaking of Justin, what do you think of him getting his picture on the cover? Are you jealous you don’t get to share the cover with him?
Not at all jealous. Justin is a determined, honorable man who will go to any length to protect the people he cares about. Despite putting his life on the line every day for his country, he never figured out that he is a man worth fighting for. That’s why I came to the Wiccan Haus to fight for him. That’s why I’m on this blog spilling our private details. Besides, have you ever seen a hotter, sexier man than my Justin? No, you haven’t, and that perfection deserves to have an entire cover devoted to it.

Do you believe in ghosts?
Well, if you’d asked me before I came to the Wiccan Haus, I would have said absolutely not. But after spending a week at the Wiccan Haus, let’s just say I now believe in things I never imagined existed before. Ghosts don’t even begin to cover it.

Why should the readers be interested in your story?
Besides the fact that reading A Man Worth Fighting For is like taking a mini-vacation to the Wiccan Haus, everyone needs to meet Justin and hear his story of bravery, healing and determination. If that’s not enough for you, here’s the clincher. He’s sexy, strong and vulnerable all at once. Who wouldn’t fall for a man like that? However, since I’m not going to share him with you, you’ll just have to read the book if you want to experience it for yourself!
