Shaken and Stirred with a splash of dirty.

She’s not the one he wants…

Drew McKenna is obsessed with the woman who saved his family’s business. She’s the last woman he should want, but his dreams are flooded with the sultry, sexy woman who gets under his skin. He’d not prepared to end their lengthy riff just so he can give into his desire to have the gorgeous woman under him.

But she is the one he needs…

Glory Pierce gave up on Drew the second he flung vicious insults her way. The harder she tries to forget how deep those scars run, however, the more he invades her thoughts. When tragedy strikes, Glory is forced to put aside her anger and work with the man she despises. But as they mix business with pleasure, the heat between them reaches fever pitch, secrets are revealed, and passions are stirred up in ways neither of them can ignore.

Excerpt:

“I wish you saw yourself as I do. Vibrant, sexy, magnetic. Feisty, while humble and kind. You’re a class act, Glory Pierce.”
The words washed over her, crowding within her heart and soul. Her body warmed surrounded by them. But, in the back of her mind, doubt nagged at her. “Pretty words, Drew. Practice them much?”
“Damn it, woman.” He snarled, crunching the empty bottle in his hand. Her eyes widened, and watched as he inhaled a few harsh breaths. “I’m sorry for that. It’s just—” he shifted in the chair. Gone was the heat, and replaced with perplexed confusion. “I’m being as honest as I can be. I understand it will take time for you to trust me, and I’ll work for it, but don’t shut me out. Can’t we start again?”
The idea was so absurd, she wanted to laugh, but refrained from losing her cool. “As though we haven’t known each other for years? How does that work? We’re too acquainted with one another to pretend otherwise.”
He nodded. “I agree, but I mean as far as spending time together. Some real time. We’ve never had the chance to do that.”
It took every bit of restraint to keep her jaw from falling into her lap. “You mean … dating?” She’d die of more embarrassment if she’d presumed too much.
“Yes.”
Glory couldn’t help it, she laughed out loud. How preposterous. Tears gathered in the corners of her eyes as she tried to control her giggles. “Oh, my gosh.” She cleared her throat, reining herself in. “Drew, I don’t need your pity dates or trying to make up for anything.” She stood and refilled the empty bottle with water from the cooler in the corner. Once full, she turned and leaned against the counter. “I’m sure you mean well, but come on, as if you want to date me.”
She had to tip her head back, shocked, as he was on his feet and across the kitchen standing in front of her before she had time to blink. His lean body boxed her in, his arms barricading her in on each side.
“I think I’ve said a few times how attracted I am to you, Glory. And I suspect the feeling is mutual.” He crowded in closer, head dipping low to her right ear. “I’ve had a hard dick for months just picturing you naked. Should I give you the details of my dreams? The things we’ve done together might make you blush.” His breath brushed long the curve of her neck, sending shivers along her spine and over her ass. Grateful for the counter against her back, or she’d have fallen flat on her ass and taken him with her, she latched onto the lifeline.
Not a bad idea. I’d be game for that.
Glory groaned, but leaned away from him until his breath no longer seduced her. “Oh, you’re good. I’ll give you that. Quite skilled in fact. But making my pussy tingle with horny words won’t get you into my panties, Drew.”
“Your pussy’s tingling?”
With a growl, she shoved him away and glared at him. “Oh, for heaven’s sake.”
The bastard had the audacity to laugh. “I’m sorry. But Christ, saying shit like that won’t help the hard on, ya know.”
Glory’s gaze dropped to the front of his shorts. Yep, present and accounted for, she could see the outline of his hard dick. She took a sip of her water.
“Stop that. Staring at it doesn’t help either. If you don’t want me to pounce on you, you have to quit it.”
Oh, we want him to pounce, don’t we? Why don’t we lie on the floor right here and spread our legs?
The voice in her head had her choking on the water halfway down her throat. Her eyes watered as she tried to control a coughing fit.
“Are you okay?”
She held a hand up, keeping him at bay. If he touched her now, she’d crumple, unable to resist him. Her conscience was a menace, but definitely right. If Drew pounced, she’d never stop him.
“Better?”
“Yes.” After a quick glance at the clock on the stove, she cleared her throat. “I have a few calls to make and paperwork for Alan to do. I think we’re done here, Drew.” He stared at her, unmoving, and she shifted on her feet. “Look, I get it, you want to make amends and think you’re attracted to me. But I don’t believe it. I’m sorry. I don’t trust you.” He couldn’t expect much else from her. Not when he’d never given her any reason to think of him as more than a bad memory.
“Cards on the table?” he asked, as he advanced on her. “Complete honesty?”
“Uh, haven’t we been doing that?”
“I have, but I need you to be all in, too.” He stopped in front of her, his tasteful cologne wafting her way. Why did he always smell so fucking good? “Do you want me, Glory?”
A gasp escaped her. His unwavering gaze held her captive. She didn’t want to do this.
“I have to earn your trust, and I plan to, but you have to give me hope. Something to hold on to as I prove it.”
“Drew,” she sighed.
“Be honest with me, please. If you tell me to walk away, I will. If you say you want me, and that there’s something more between us, then I’ll hold on so fucking tight.” He sighed as his fingers brushed her cheek. “So tight, babe, you’ll be mine completely. But I need to hear it from you.”
God, his voice, low and raspy... Glory swallowed hard as her skin warmed and her nipples pebbled. Damn him. Dare she trust him with so much? He’d given her nothing but heartache and chaos for so long. Sure, he had a lot to make up for, but she’d never make any man sit up and beg. The memories haunted her, but she understood he hadn’t been in control that night. She should’ve handled things better. Called Eric. Locked herself in the bathroom. Stayed up until morning at Abe’s Diner. But she hadn’t done a thing to stop him when he’d touched her. Hadn’t wanted to. It wasn’t fair to put total blame on him. His words the next morning had gutted her, yes, but shouldn’t she forgive him because he’d woken up off-kilter and uncertain?
Glory opened her mouth, only to snap it shut as the doorbell chimed.
“Shit. Are you expecting someone? Never mind, answer me first.” Drew rubbed her shoulders. “Please.”
The chime sounded again. Glory pushed his hands away. “I have to get that.” She strode across the kitchen, then halted. Before she changed her mind, she gripped the doorjamb and turned back. “As much as I wish otherwise, I do want you, Drew. More than I should. And more than is smart.”

Canadian Muscle …
When Desires Need Protecting.
Charlotte Weber is no stranger to heartbreak. FBI agent Frank Shaw has swept in and out of her life as though she’s a revolving door, stomping on her heart in the process. Now that she’s finally had enough, he’s back again and seems determined to spin her life out of control.

Frank knows Charlie is the anchor for his lost soul, even though he can’t risk settling down. The demons of his past are too great, and he won’t run the risk of hurting her. This time, his only objective should be locating Charlie’s brother, Sean. But Charlie’s a complication, and not just because she refuses to believe Sean is guilty.

As Frank and Charlie fight for what they believe in, they also try to resist their powerful connection. The future is unclear, but when danger surrounds them, they are each other’s only anchor.

Excerpt © Kacey Hammell, 2017
Frank watched Charlie intently.
Charlie.
That name was for a young girl, not for a woman like her.
To him, she was all Charlotte. Confident, virile, elegant, intoxicating. A vixen who turned a man on with one sultry glance and then brought him to his knees with one heady taste of her. He hated calling her by such the tomboy-ish name everyone else called her.
Others didn’t see what he did. Which was a good thing, too; he didn’t want her sharing that part of herself with anyone else. Especially not with this Numbnuts Neal that Jonas had told him about last night. Another guy was sniffing around his lady, and he didn’t like it. Not one fucking little sliver.
“So.” Charlotte interrupted his thoughts. He’d deal with Numbnuts later. “Tell me”—she shoved the file aside—“in your own words, everything my brother has allegedly done. And sugarcoat nothing on my behalf. I’ll read the report later.”
There was the woman he cared for. The brook-no-argument heat in her eyes. Her deep, sea-blue gaze sliced deep and offered no mercy.
“Your brother actually went undercover five years ago. You knew he was changing jobs and would be out of the country for a long time. You told me that yourself, remember?” Charlotte nodded but said nothing. “Through my contacts and the agent in charge of the case, it’s been almost eighteen months since his handler’s spoken to him.”
Her eyes widened and she shifted, but remained silent.
“I tracked him down in the most desolate area of Tel Aviv and to a branch in a drug cartel he’d started investigating years ago. The minute details are in the file, but to make a long story short, I got too close. Breached a compound to look for evidence of your brother being there and anything else I could use in the case.” He ran a hand down his face, the skin itchy from not having shaved in days. “Only sparse personnel were to be on the grounds, less eyes watching, but the Intel I got had been wrong. Before I knew what was happening, I was getting shot at from every direction.”
“So Sean might not be the one who shot you.” Her eyes were eager, hopeful. Of course she’d latch on to the fact multiple bullets were aimed at him.
He shook his head, wishing he could answer her pleas. “I managed through the worst of it and found my way to an empty garage where I ran into your brother. And before you ask, yes, I am certain it was him. He appeared confused at first, then said, ‘Charlie’s Frank?’ So he knew who I was. Then voices and more gunfire rang out and coming toward us. Before I could react to anything, he suddenly raised his gun and shot me.” Frank rubbed his wound, still surprised he’d survived. The doctors had said a couple inches left or right, depending on travel of the bullet and bone fragment concerns, and surgery wouldn’t have been an option either.
“How’d you get out of there?” He hoped the concern in her eyes was true and for him, not just her brother.
“One of the other agents with me pulled up in a jeep. I ran out as fast as possible, and he hauled our asses out of there.”
Charlotte scoffed. “Okay Rambo-slash-John McClane, you still watch too many action films. Unless I hear it from Sean, I won’t believe he’d shoot you for no reason.”
She’d always been pigheaded, but Frank couldn’t believe she’d question it. “What reason would I have to lie to you? Hell, Charlo—ie, I latched on to the case to prove his innocence.”
“Why? Why did you want to get involved? You left Vikki and high-tailed it on the first plane out with barely any notice. You didn’t tell me much before you left. And you were on your way to partnering up with Gavin and Marc with the security stuff. But you dropped everything and left. Why was Sean’s case that important to you?”
“For you!” he bellowed, confused why she didn’t see that. “He is your brother, Gavin’s best friend, and I’d have access to the whole case to help him.”
“Don’t pretend that you were doing me any favors. I never asked you to get involved, Frank.”
“Well, of course not,” he growled low. “You’d never have found out any of it if I had my way. I was hoping to get Sean out of trouble and bring him home to you. But you overheard Gavin and I talking before I left. And as far as leaving Vikki, she and I discussed it. She needed space and was only too eager to see me go. She didn’t need my hovering at that point and wanted to stand on her own, or try to. Gavin watched over her for me.” He smiled. “You all did, and I appreciate it very much.”
“We’ve become great friends.” He loved the way Charlotte’s eyes softened as she talked about his cousin. “It is an honest friendship. And it has nothing to do with you.”
Months had turned her hard, distant. He only had himself to blame. They hadn’t left things on a positive note, but he’d hoped she’d understand one day.
Hell, he’d foolishly hoped that she would come to appreciate having him on Sean’s case rather than a stranger. Their personal relationship aside, he assumed she’d trust the agent he was, and how long and hard he’d continued searching for Vikki. What other proof did she need to trust him?
How wrong he’d been.
“I don’t want to think about Sean doing this.” The worry on her face tore at his heart. “Was he undercover too long? Is that a reason people believe he’s capable of such violence?”
“There are many cops and agents that have gone so far undercover they get caught up in the lifestyle and it’s impossible to find their way back.” Sadness crept across her face. “Sorry, Charlie, that’s as honest as it gets.”
“None of this makes sense.” She stood and piled paperwork on the file cabinet. “It goes against who Sean is, and not who Norris raised. I can’t wrap my head around it. My brother isn’t a monster.”
Her voice broke, breaking his heart in the process. Frank stood and crossed the room, then rested his hands on her shoulders. “I’m sorry, hon. I know you’re scared, and I’m sorry you have to go through this.”
Charlotte turned, surprising him, and burrowed her face in his chest. Sobs tore from her, shaking her strong yet delicate frame. He wrapped her in his arms, resting his cheek on her head, and let her cry.
It had been so long—too long—since he’d inhaled her sweet scent of fruity shampoo and the coconut butter body wash she used every day. He’d barely made it through any meal that served any of the combinations, the memories of her too fervent to let him eat in peace. Soft, warm, and the tranquility that came to him whenever he held her close were all potently his Charlotte.
Home. Being this close to her again was like coming home. But he wasn’t a man looking for one place to settle down. And it puzzled him why he returned time and time again.
You know exactly why. You have an addiction, buddy. And she’s in your arms right now.
Yes, he supposed his conscience was trying to tell him something, but it was wrong. He kept returning here because of his friends, the security business. But Charlotte pulled him back in like a reel catching a fish every single time.
“No. Fuck no.” Her high-pitched squeal surprised him. He fell back on his feet, shocked at her strength to shove him so hard.
“Charlotte—”
“Shut up. No. Damn it.” She glared at him, fists tight. “Get out. Don’t coddle me. Don’t console me. You won’t use me. Get. Out.”
“Use you? Coddle you?” He huffed. “You turned to me,” he yelled, frustration gnawing at him.
“Guess I’m an idiot, but I won’t fall for it. I won’t let you close enough to betray my brother. If I even hear from him again.” Her chest heaved and sweat dotted her forehead and cheeks. Frank had never seen her so out of control, seething and yet so stunning. How ferocious she was in battle.
“Charlie?”
Frank’s head whipped around to the intruding voice in the doorway.
“Charlie, are you all right?”
“We’re having a private conversation. Get lost, buddy.”
“Shut up, Frank. Come on in, Neal. He and I are finished.”
So this was Numbnuts Neal. Dark hair, squinty eyes, tanned skin. Dressed to the nines in a suit and tie, with a cute little handkerchief in his breast pocket, and a pair of round glasses in his right hand. Jesus, what a nerd. Frank wanted to pick him up and chuck him back out into the hallway.
“I, um, just came to see if you wanted to catch up. Maybe dinner?” Numbnuts eyed Frank with caution. Good. Frank wanted the guy scared shitless of him.
But the little prick stepped forward and extended his hand to shake.
Frank eyed the small limb with the urge to break it but wanting to be an adult.
“Oh, for cripes sake,” Charlotte groused. “Neal Simmons, Frank Shaw. And vice versa. Whatever.” She pushed a pile of folders into a shoulder bag then her phone and grabbed another smaller bag she slid under her arm. “I’ll call you later, Neal. I need a time out.”
“Hey, wait a second,” Frank called out, following her into the hall.
“No, I’m done here. I can’t do this right now.” She turned and rushed away.
Frank watched, jaw clenched. Anger and frustration filled him as Charlotte and Numbnuts disappeared. He strode back into her office for his cell phone he’d set on her desk earlier. Frank eyed the landline phone sitting there.
After extracting a small case from the front pocket of his pants, he opened it and pulled out the tiny device and lifted the dial-phone. He placed the electronic bug underneath it and set it back down.
If Sean contacted his sister, this would be one number he might call. As much as Frank disliked going behind her back like this, he had a job to do. No matter how much he cared about her, he’d do whatever it took to bring bad guys in. He wasn’t bred any other way.

The twins are back but will a mate come between them?

Sometimes one infiltrator isn’t enough. When a long lost Tao pack member is located in Europe, D and 7 accept the challenge to rescue the missing wolf. But sometimes, it takes crossing thousands of miles to find what your soul most desires.

Natalia remembers nothing of her life before being enslaved in a traveling circus. When tall, dark and mysterious strangers show up to help her escape, she feels a connection she’s never experienced before. Should she trust her heart to follow them, or will it land her in another case of captivity.

Danger may be in the blood of infiltrators, but what will D do when his soul mate is the one threatened? And how will two twins, who have shared everything, deal with a female who comes between them?

Excerpt:

Natalia awoke alone and without a blanket to find D closing the gate.

“Sorry, they have just awoken above us. I didn’t think it would bode well for me to be there with you. At least not until we can get that blasted collar off you.”

Well-rested and colder than she had ever been after a night of warmth, she felt the chill more acutely. She also had a sense of loneliness accompanying his retreat. “Why do I desire to touch you when all other men make me want to hit them?”

“We don’t have enough time right now to go into a conversation you will have a ton of questions about, but I promise if we haven’t figured out how to get you to safety by this evening, as we sit here in this cage again, I will tell you anything you want to know.”

“And if we get out of here? What then?”

“I will sit in a safe, warm room and tell you anything you want to know.” He indicated the small brown bag beside her. “Eat quickly before they come. Don’t eat or drink anything they give you. I will return for you later.”

“Where will you be?”

“Within hearing distance.” He reached through the cage and cupped her cheek. “I will never be far, even if you can’t see me.”

“I can sense you, why?”

“Because, we are mates.” He put a finger to her lips. “No time.”

He shifted and gave her one last long glance before he left seconds before the cover was pulled off and sun flooded in. She wanted to asked what the hell he’d meant by mate? Needed to know why they seemed connected.

Excerpt:

Klaya paused and tried to steady her shaky fingers, mustering the courage she needed most right now. “How’s your drink, Seth?” She sat down adjacent to them.
“Fantastic.” He grinned.
A surprising playfulness rolled over her. “Bet there’s something I can do neither of you can.”
“Climb trees, catch wild game, outrun us?” Seth chimed in with a curious smile.
“Oh, those things.” She waved off his innocence. “I mean something a little more…sassy.”
“Such as?” Rogue narrowed his eyes.
She collected her own garnish and held it up in front of her mouth with a smirk. “Can you tie your cherry stem into a knot, boys?”
“It’s not rocket science. Sure.” Rogue took the bait and started twisting his between his fingers.
“Anyone can do it like that…I mean, with no hands?”
Rogue and Seth lowered their cups and glanced at each other with wide eyes.
“You can tie it in a knot, with no hands?” Seth’s disbelief spurred her on.
She winked and popped the juicy morsel into her mouth. She gripped and tugged with her teeth and devoured the delectable sweetness. “I most certainly can.” Klaya winked and tilted her head back. Satisfied with her captive audience, she eased the stem into her mouth. She swirled her tongue over twisting it into a circle and utilized her teeth as she tucked one end through the hole. Content with her performance, she parted her lips and held the knot between her teeth. She collected it between her thumb and fingertip with a grin and presented her prize to her observers. “Ta da.”
“Holy shit!” Rogue squirmed and adjusted his pants.
Klaya glanced down, pleased with his unmistakable bulge. She snickered when she caught sight of Seth tucking his shirt over his zipper.
“Your talent is, uh….” Seth’s voice was gruff.
“Mind-blowing,” Rogue offered in a throaty whisper.

In a flash, lights swirled around her, the sensation of gravity dissipated, her body lightened, and her limbs lingered in the air. She floated up, twisted, and spun on the spot. A faint, but deep voice echoed in the distance, “Incoming.”
In the blink of an eye, she bounced through the end of the portal, crashing into three large, burly men and toppling over a dark-haired stranger.
“Whoa!” He stopped their rolling together and landed on his back. Heated hands gripped her sides as she came to rest on top of his rock solid-chest, face to face. He chuckled. “You okay, princess?”
The sweetness of his warm breath brushed her lips and tingles of electricity ran over her sides where his hands held her steady. A delectable aroma of amber and patchouli wafted past her nose. Trinity leaned closer to his neck and inhaled then jerked. Lost in the depths of his dark eyes and chiseled features. His stare penetrated her and his touch stirred something deep inside. “I’m…oh, my….” She bit her lip.
“Are you hurt?” He frowned.
“No.” She rested her palms on his hard chest. But I don’t think I would notice if I was. My word, you’re handsome. A warmth curled around her spine, followed by giddy tickles in her tummy. Her body responded to the contact and lulled her other senses. In the next instant, she snapped out of her lustful daze with dread. “I’m so sorry,” she sucked in a sharp inhale and eased herself to sit up.
His hands settled on her hips. “I’m not.”
Trinity slammed her eyes shut, her cheeks burned with embarrassment at the sudden realization she now straddled the stranger she had just tackled to the ground. “By the gods, please tell me this did not just happen.” She slung her leg over to kneel on the floor and scrambled to get up. Another set of heated hands gripped her under the arms and lifted her to her feet.
“You landed pretty hard, are you sure you didn’t get hurt?” A second hunk straightened her glasses and brushed her shoulder off.
“I had a cushion to break my fall,” she whispered. Trinity smoothed back her hair to find the tight bun she had slicked her mane into had loosened and stray strands of hair littered her vision. She brushed away the rogue locks, and her breath hitched as her focus landed on another delectable vision.
