What’s Critics are saying:

ByTami Czenkuson “WOW, Sometimes you have to step out of your genre box and read something you usually wouldn't read otherwise. Kali Willows knows how to write stories that will intrigue and keep your eyes glued to the pages till the very end. Nothing is as it seems in the Dragon world, and the queen is torn on who to trust and who to destroy... That is, if they don't destroy her first. The Curse of The Dragon's Eye is full of angst and suspense and LOADED with INCREDIBLY steamy scenes. Ms. Willows is an impeccable story teller and I look forward to reading more of her art.”

Byconnie ortizon: “Kali Willows is a new author to me, I was totally captivated with Curse of the Dragon's Eye from the beginning to the end. The author did a fantastic job meshing together the two different worlds. This book has intrigue, suspense, mystery and excitement. Ureena and Hector are captivating. Some books you read, Some you enjoy. Curse of the Dragons Eye swallows you up heart and soul. I would definitely recommend this book to all my fellow readers. Great Job!!! Don't miss out!”

ByJulie Garretton: “Wow I really enjoyed this story. The suspense was intense. The story unpredictable. Kept me on my toes with each page. If you like a story that at times will have you holding your breath, this is that book. I highly recommend this book.

Blurb:

When reality is just a curse in disguise…

Ureena has a secret that not even she is aware of. A determined woman is plagued by memory loss, erotic dreams, and surrounded by treachery. Urgency drives her to solve the archeological mystery in the hidden catacombs of the Pyramid of Amon-Ra. A discovery sets her fate in motion, while unseen forces intervene. The only problem is her growing confusion about her persistent boss and landlord as things heat up. Just as she thinks she knows everything, her world is cast into oblivion while more layers of deception become unveiled.

Hector tries desperately to navigate through obstacles in his bid to obtain his heart’s desire, the most stubborn woman he’s ever known. High priest and alchemist of the Dragon Pharaoh’s flight, he is shunned once again by the unobtainable Dragon Queen. Compulsion drives him as the secrets he knows and the lines he crosses could very well mean the difference between life and death. The things he does could cost him the woman of his dreams. With time running out and the pharaoh’s protectors rallying against him, will he win in the end?

Excerpt:

The lit torches every six feet or so shone on the cracks in the stone and mortar, revealing a sheen she’d never noticed before. She’d swear the glimmers in the stone were specs of gold. Shaking her head, she continued to the end of the tunnel and stopped. Torches lit both the left and right adjoining halls, but with all the footprints in the sand and no more sounds of voices, she had no means to tell which way the crew went.
Ureena tugged out a copy of the map Hector gave everyone in case of separation. Right. The crew went right. However, a curious niggling brought about a sudden urge to go left.
A new spark of adventure jolted through her veins. No crew and no Hector. It was dangerous to venture off alone, with no radio communication and no one apprised as to where she was. The last cave-in proved his point, but the left tunnel intrigued her.
Ureena raced along the corridor as if she’d done it a thousand times. She trotted for what seemed twenty minutes or so, until she entered an opening in the catacombs. An unexplored area with no boot prints in the sand.
The ceiling spanned roughly twenty feet and presented a large open chamber with pillars and decorative archways carved into the walls. In the center stood three separate sarcophagi with symbols of gods twice the size of mortal man, protectors of the underworld, and the eye of Ra carved along the sides and across the top. Could this be a burial site for pharaohs they sought? The deep alcoves in the walls housed tall, remarkably detailed statues of gods and…dragons? Egyptian history showcased cats and snakes as animals they worshiped, but dragons? Though it went completely against everything history dictated, she found it oddly perfect somehow.

Wiccan Haus (Book #8) Book Blitz - Guarding His Heart - by Carolyn Spear!

Guarding His Heart (Wiccan Haus novella)
by Carolyn Spear

School teacher Cassidy Sinclair’s sanity is questioned after claiming to see her hero appear out of thin air. Her savior dies in her arms after intercepting a gunshot meant for her and her student, Allan Branson. The only person who believes her account is the boy’s father who arranges her one-week stay at an exclusive holistic healing spa called the Wiccan Haus off the coast of Maine.

Trevor Green, a paranormal, is recovering—again—from gunshot wounds at Wiccan Haus. His body battered and his confidence broken, he is tasked to protect the woman he almost got killed. The one he’s fantasized about for months and who thinks he’s dead.

Excerpt:

“What happened?”

What happened? He inhaled a calming breath and counted to ten, aware that Cemil and Cyrus had joined Sage and were awaiting his answer. Well, not Cemil. He was just being polite. As a telepath, he’d already read Trevor’s thoughts.

“She was determined to come back here and I had to stop her.”

Cemil grinned. “The best you could come up with was decloaking her dead savior right in front of her?”

“Yeah,” he snarled, “it was.” Cassidy stirred in his arms and he tightened his hold keeping her close. He savored the innocent intimacy and hated himself for enjoying it.

Dana stood between the two elevators. “Your room or hers?”

“Hers.”

He nodded toward Sage as he waited for the third elevator, the one reserved for the humans. Somehow, these siblings had charmed the elevators so that only humans could use the one designated to go to the third floor and only Paranormals could use the second floor elevator. The first elevator was reserved for the siblings alone. No one knew where that one went.

“I could use a key to her room.”

“How will you get there?” Sage asked, though he was sure she knew the answer. As always, he would wait patiently, cloaked, for his opportunity.

“Don’t worry about me. Just get me the key. She’s not going to be an easy one to keep an eye on.” The elevator pinged and Dana escorted him to the third floor.

In the privacy of the elevator, he pressed his lips to her hair. She wouldn’t know, but he would remember the silky strands caressing his cheek during the long lonely nights.

He needed to concoct a believable explanation for materializing out of thin air without threatening her sanity. Or his secret.

On this perilous journey for his pursuit of salvation, she tries to teach him the value of humanity. Will Luther strike out and lose his soul on the road to redemption? Can Gabrielle save him from eternal damnation despite the forces that try to stop them?

Preface

Penance was inconsequential to me once upon a time. For the first time in my life, it means everything. My soul depends on it. For years, I swindled wealthy women, made shady business deals that caused harm to others. In just seven days, I face spiritual exile. Doomed to purgatory for my past deeds and failure to live my humanity. My one chance at salvation? I have one assignment to complete, with rules, very strict rules, and unspeakable consequences if I fail. Whoever said good guys finish last was sadly mistaken. I'd never been a good guy. Now, I have to be one if I want redemption.

~Excerpt:

Is this night ever gonna end?
“Sooner than you think,” a woman’s whisper filled his ear.
Luther spun, but the hallway was empty. Great, he could add a little auditory hallucination to top the evening off. The phone buzzed in his hand again.
Sorry, buddy, Beth’s home so you can’t come here tonight. Jazz told her everything. She’s pissed off. You should stay at the Plaza. Let me know when you get there, I’ll pop over.
“Perfect,” he grumbled.
No way would he go back to the house tonight, not while she packed to leave. He didn’t want to deal with the aftermath. Getting out of pinches was his forte, not facing them.
To go to his father’s was out of the question. Even if Jasmine hadn’t already told him everything, the need to explain why he had to crash overnight held no appeal and no reprieve for Luther.
Marvin was right. The Plaza seemed like the only viable solution.
Sure, I’ll head there. Should be a half hour or so. Gonna have a bite to eat and hit the sack. I’m wiped out. Luther finished the text then tucked his phone into his coat and took his keys out. He pressed the elevator button with a heavy sigh.
The clanking metal door dragged open with an irksome ding. Empty. At least he didn’t have to paint on a smile. He inched into the grimy box and pressed P5. A bed was all he needed tonight, and no people to mingle with. The door scraped along the frame as it closed then got stuck only six inches before shutting.
Gimme a break.” He shoved his hand through to push it open. Immovable, the cold metal resisted. Anger flooded him, and he kicked the door while wrestling it back and forth, trying to get it to move. Without warning, the elevator door slammed shut. He yanked his hand back in the nick of time, saving his fingers from getting crushed. Luther’s chest pounded, and a rush of sweat covered his forehead.
That was close.” A sharp jolt shook the elevator. Rattling sounded overhead, like a loose cable. The air grew thick. He couldn’t breathe. Am I about to meet my maker? He snagged at the collar of his shirt then clicked the button again and again for the main floor, but the death trap door didn’t budge. He stilled, terrified to shift in case something broke in the dilapidated wreck.
The quiet besieged him and rang in his ears. He waited, his pulse raced, his heartbeat thrummed behind his ears.
Luther sidestepped slowly to the console. He pushed the open button once again. It still didn’t work. “I can’t believe this,” he hissed. Pins and needles filled his toes, traveling up his legs, followed by a prickling along his skin.
Desperation mounted and he pressed every button on the board, hoping something would free him. Then, a grinding sound, followed by the sudden plummeting, and his stomach bottomed out with the weightlessness.
No! The elevator plunged downward. Images flashed through his mind and words filled his head: If you wrong another person, you will die.
Is my nightmare crossing into reality?
With a frightful jerk, the elevator stopped and the door slid open. Stunned, he fixed his stare at the number P5, glowing above him. Luther bolted out of the elevator, and the door eased closed behind him with the tactless chime sounding again.
Speechless, even in his own mind, he fumbled with his keys and pressed the alarm button, triggering piercing chirps and flashing lights down at the end of the row. The commotion revealed his car in the sea of metal and wheels. Clicking the alarm off, he walked down the concrete path to the respite of his trusty BMW.
The sudden screech of tires ricocheted throughout the lot. It grew louder and closer as he walked the length of the parking garage. Luther spied the fast approaching car and jumped out of the path of the oncoming vehicle. The car full of teens sped away, with only the bass of blaring music sounding with rhythmic thuds, muffled by the closed windows.
Great. On top of the rest of the night, I’m paranoid, too. Weariness washed over him. He reached his silver car and climbed in.

Cover Reveal For Gracen Miller's Hell's Phoenix (Road to Hell Book#2)

Welcome to Between Moonlit Covers

We are so honored to host a special
Cover Reveal for the sensational

Gracen Miller

Hell's Phoenix (Road to Hell #2)

Hell’s become more than just a playground for the wicked…

Going to Hell was supposed to save Madison, but knowing she’s dead because of his failure leaves Nix with only one thing to live for. Revenge. With Micah’s help he learns to use his Messianic power. Anything for Mads has become his mantra, even if it means killing innocents to gather the power he needs to succeed. A tsunami he unleashes on a Gulf Coast city is stopped with magical interference, and Nix is more than surprised to feel Madison in the opposing magic. Can he and Micah set a trap to lure her out?

Hell’s Phoenix Excerpt:
“You’ll heal her promptly,” Micah growled, shifting back into his human persona, as he offered his legs as a pillow for her head. She’d have pushed him away if she could’ve managed to contort her body to that angle.
Madison gaped at the blood darkening her jeans and spreading down her thigh. “That hurts way worse than I thought being shot would.”
“I need to get your pants off, Mads, to heal you.” Nix’s fingers went to the snap of her jeans.
She knocked his hands away. “You’ll heal the others first.”
“He shot the main artery in your thigh, Madison. You’ll bleed out before he finishes with them.” Micah compressed his lips together and spoke as if he ground his teeth together. “I’ve lost you twice. I will not lose you again.”
“Death would at least grant me freedom from you!”
Micah’s mouth flattened in displeasure. “Phoenix, I would ask you to do as she requests.”
“Goddamnit, Mads, I swear I’ll heal them immediately after I take care of you.”
Madison glared at Nix. “E kawoja ciok tauqelv.” I refuse your healing. Nix spewed curses in Xapil. “Impressive, you’ve learned how to curse in demon.”
Nix scowled. “Stubborn.”
Madison clenched her teeth in silent mutiny. Nix cupped the back of her head, tugged slightly and kissed her hard on the lips. Excitement zinged through her system. Her attraction to him always presented itself at the most inappropriate moments.
“I find that stubborn trait sexy, baby.”
“Flattery gets you nowhere, Nix.” She winced at the tug against her wounded flesh as he rested her against Micah’s thighs.
“What does?” Nix jerked the hem of one pant leg up and tugged the blade strapped to her ankle out of its harness.
“Good deeds.”
He brandished the knife he’d given her for her thirtieth birthday and grinned. “Does healing them count?”
“No.”
Nix rolled to his feet and leveled her with his stare. “You’re a hard woman to please.”
“Cease the flirtations with my wife.” Micah’s grip on her shoulders intensified. “Heal those bottom-feeders, and then heal her.”

The first book in this series, Pandora's Box

Pandora’s Box…once you open it, there’s no turning back!

She’s willing to risk her own life to rescue Nix, but she worries about the welfare of her accomplice in the mission and leaving her son behind. Following up on a lead, she’s ambushed by Nix and Micah. Shocked and hurt to discover Nix has become a willing participant of Hell, she’s more certain than ever she won’t escape the demonic fate her husband outlined for her.
